We run our annual board retreat (formerly known as our long-range planning workshop) a couple of weeks prior to our annual staff retreat. Do you find it beneficial to hold them opposite? I’d be interested to hear from others as well.
– Somewhere in Indiana.
We hold a planning retreat with our staff before we hold it with the board. The premise is to bring the best staff-generated ideas to our board of directors for their consideration.
